Cranbourn's History

Started as an Agriculture strip in the 1970's.

In the year 1989 Mr Greg Hoyle first asked Mrs Marcia Hill, if the airfield could be used for recreational flying.

In the year 1990 Eugene Reid began flying school at Cranbourn, along with other keen pilots for the first recreational flights at Cranbourn.

Everyone enjoyed the benifits of years of hard work of a stable commonsence group, dedicated to aviation at Cranbourn with a proven record, second to no one.

7th July 1997 The day stage 2 of cranbourn Airfield Began
